Flat Roofing

A flat roof is 2/12 pitch, while 2/12 – 4/12 pitch is considered a low slope. The pitch determines “rise” over “run”. This means that the first number is the number of feet it takes your roof to gain one foot in elevation. Some pitch is considered necessary for proper drainage.

Flat Roofing Professionals

For low slope roofing applications, we are the one to call. We offer Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) and Thermoplastic Polyolefin (TPO) roofing systems. They are long lasting, contain less petrochemicals than other options and are considered better for the environment, and are a safer installation than torchdown roofing.

Long Lasting & Energy Efficient

Both materials are flexible, puncture and weather resistant, as well as being UV protectant. The UV protection can help with heating and cooling costs. Both TPO and PVC can last between 20-30 years, in comparison Torchdown roofs last around 15 years.

Flat Roof Care

It is important to get your flat or low slope roof inspected regularly. During the inspection, you will want to make sure that the roof doesn’t have debris, bubbling, or the seams aren’t coming apart. You want to also make sure that the vents are in good condition, with no cracks or rust. Proper maintenance done regularly can extend the life of your roof.
